The ProMAX 944S2 Cat Bypass Pipe is designed to remove the Catalytic Converter restriction from the 944S2 (Cat only models). The Cat Bypass pipe is a replacement pipe and silencer for the Catalytic Converter and has been Dyno tested to yield 11bhp alone!
Cars manufactured prior to 1993 are not required to have a Catalytic Converter in the UK. Hence, it is perfectly legal to fit this performance enhancing part to your car (other countries, please check your local highway laws prior to ordering).
This part is quality manufactured from stainless steel and will not corrode. It will last the life of the car and is easy to fit in place of the original converter. The Cat Bypass pipe comes complete with three hole flange to secure to your exhaust system and fits over the manifold down pipe with a 'U' type exhaust clamp. Once fitted, you can then enjoy better performance and increased fuel economy.
