TIPEC Show 2010
06 June 2010
The TIPEC 2010 Annual Club Event (Sunday June 6th) was enjoyed by many Porsche enthusiasts and their families at the Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre today (just outside Warwick). This was the 3rd succesive year for TIPEC's annual event at Gaydon and the event was well attended with numerous trade stands and an excellent turnout of Porsche owners, drivers and club members; all enjoying the better than expected weather and unlimited access to the Heritage Motor Museum.
ProMAX Motorsport were on hand to catch up with customers old & new and also displayed some interesting cars including Bob's stunning 2.7 RS replica (built from a 1983 3.2 Carrera) and a very attractive Guards Red 968 Coupe (for sale). Andy's 996 Turbo S completed our display of cars. It was great to catch up with old friends and associates and an enjoyable day was had by all.
The Motor museum had many new exhibits including the slightly used Aston Martin DBS from the James Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace' (the one from the opening sequence), the DB9 from Casino Royale and many other interesting cars making the visit a different experience from last year.
TIPEC (The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club) are planning to return to the same venue next year.
